For over 15 years, Añada has been a little slice of Spain on Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. A place where the Spanish is poured, plates are shared, and there's always something good spinning on the vinyl. Just the way we like it. 

Our name, Añada, comes from the Spanish word for a year’s harvest, and our kitchen follows the seasons; as the produce changes, the menu shifts with it. But the cooking always stays true to its roots.

Our Food

Taking cue from the peasant food of Southern Spain, with a Basque influence, we serve honest, hearty cooking where technique does the heavy lifting. We slow-cook, char-grill and cure. Crisp croquetas, a board of charcuterie or thick slices of warm potato tortilla. And of course, our signature paella is cooked to order in the traditional pan ready to share.

There’s no right or wrong way to eat here. Start small with a few pintxos, order more as you go, or make your way through a full table of raciones.
